Therapeutic Arts Workshop

A gentle evening with guided meditation and watercolour painting to promote emotional wellbeing.

  • 45 British pounds
  • Rudolf Steiner House, 35 Park road, Baker Street, London NW1 6XT

Service Description

This workshop offers a reflective, safe and meditative space for anyone interested in reconnecting with themselves and their creative energy. This is for you if you'd like a calm and creative moment for yourself, to slow down, unwind and recenter. You'll be guided through a series of reflective exercises and an easy to follow watercolour technique which promotes relaxation and reduced levels of stress, anxiety and overwhelm.  There's no need for previous experience. Come as you are and I hope you'll leave feeling relaxed and inspired. The workshop is facilitated by Anniek Verholt, a Dutch artistic therapist and artist based in the UK with over 25 years of experience in the field of therapeutic arts. She runs a private practice in London and Brighton and facilitates workshops for corporate and health organisations as well as in a south London prison. She teaches abstract art and has a vibrant studio practice in Brighton and Athens.
