Slow down & reconnect with yourself.
A calm and compassionate space for reflection and wellbeing, drawing on creative and therapeutic approaches.

Sometimes it can be difficult to find the words for what we are experiencing. At other times, we may understand what is happening but still feel stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected from ourselves.

In our sessions we make space to slow down, reflect and explore what is happening beneath the surface.

Working together, we can use conversation alongside creative and therapeutic approaches to support greater self-understanding, emotional wellbeing and meaningful change.

You don’t need to be artistic or have any previous experience of working creatively.

Resources

Creative and reflective resources to support wellbeing and self-awareness in your own time. This is particularly useful for anyone who cannot find a regular time to meet for sessions, for someone who isn't ready yet to make the step to work together or for those who might be travelling for a period and would like to take some time to reconnect with themselves through a set of bespoke exercises.

About me

I’m Anniek Verholt, a therapeutic arts practitioner, clinical hypnotherapist in training and workshop facilitator with more than 25 years of experience in the wellbeing sector. My approach brings together therapeutic conversation, creative processes and an understanding of how making something with our hands can help us access experiences that are sometimes difficult to reach through words alone. I work with adults and children individually, facilitate groups and workshops, and develop creative wellbeing programmes for organisations.

My approach

Sessions are shaped around the individual. Sometimes our work may involve making; at other times we may talk, reflect or work with imagery, colour or other approaches.

The aim is to create a calm, supportive space in which you can become more aware of yourself and what you need. There is no expectation to make something beautiful or to be “good at art”. The creative process can simply offer another way of noticing, expressing and understanding what is happening for you.

Would you like to talk?

If you are considering one-to-one support and would like to find out whether working together feels right, you are welcome to get in touch for a discovery call.

Whether you're looking for ongoing therapeutic support or a creative space to reconnect with yourself, the focus is on providing a calm, welcoming environment where exploration and personal development can unfold at your own pace.
