Art For Wellbeing
During this 10 week personal development journey you will be guided through a gentle and easy to follow creative process designed to help you slow down and improve your wellbeing. We will reflect on personal themes and patterns and will combine guided art making, meditation and mindfulness techniques to create a calm space for processing, expressing, recharging and reconnecting. This course is facilitated by Anniek Verholt who has 25+ years of experience in the field of Therapeutic and Contemporary Arts. She trained in Art Therapy in the Netherlands ('00) and besides seeing clients 1-2-1 in her practice in London she has worked with a wide range of groups and organisations including the charity Mind, KidsCompany, HMP, Depression alliance, LOC (Living Well), Mindhug.

Who Is This Course For?
This course is open to anyone (adults) with an interest in creativity and self development. Some participants may simply be interested in starting a regular reflective or creative practice while others may have been struggling with health issues (i.e. burn-out, depression, anxiety, stress, adhd, overwhelm) or you may be going through a difficult personal time and are looking for a safe space where you can exhale, feel uplifted, connected and calm. You don't need any art experience as our focus is on the process of making and won't be about creating a master piece. All materials are provided.
